Since this hotel was written about in Lonely Planet 2006, it has been seriously neglected, is a major health risk, I very strongly advise no-one to stay here. I stayed at the Sonesta Port Said during last August. This was my 4th visit to the hotel as my company has a corporate deal with Sonesta Egypt. The hotel has done a lot of renovation in its second floor rooms, and now the rooms are truly a good product specially the sea view rooms. Food in the Italaian restaurant... more
