Stayed in Safari park for a night before moving to Masai Mara. On the outskirts of Nairobi, surrounded by an exotic garden, a really impressive reception and nice little houses, so our initial impression was a very positive one. The Heron Hotel

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip of 2 weeks. Reconstruction Heron Hotel is still undergoing construction. They plan to be finished in November 2008 with the middle block. After this, they plan to reconstruct the last block. The middle block will have spacious rooms with kitchenette. But beware: at least the lowest 3 floors of these luxury... more

I visited Carnivore recently on a trip to Kenya. Having looked forward to it for months I was sadly disappointed in what was supposed to be 'Africa’s greatest eating experience'.
