It was quite some time ago that my better half and myself stayed here but i would doubt it has changed at all in that time. Amazing place,although the rooms were not the most comfy the ambiance of this hotel more than made up for that. a.c. did not work and we called reception. It was about 100 degrees F that day. Sent someone to fix it and he just cleaned the vents. Called again and he came and turned the dials and left. And he was their "engineer". Called again and asked to move rooms. They said no. When we moved the beds to try... more

Our usual Aswan hotel is being re-furbed and the Movenpick won out over the Basma & the Isis Island as I have always been tempted by the location. We were not disappointed! Boat service was on demand & we rarely had to wait long, although the odd cruise boat did complicate things. Check in was efficient, but the convoy arrives... more
