This place is great! Lots of history and the location is beautiful! There is an old WWII bunker right below the hotel - it is really unbelievable. The owner is great and the breakfast was yummy! The room was very comfortable and there is a washer and dryer if you need to do laundry. I can't say enough wonderful things... more

My wife and I spent 10 very pleasant nights at this hotel. It is really difficult to find any faults here. The proprietor and staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating and had a great sense of humour. My partner and I stayed at the Turken and found the place charming and atmospheric. If German WW2 is your thing then this is the place to be. The views are just out of this world and the Hotel is central to investigating and educating oneself about Hitler, SS and the Hitler Youth due to the buildings gone and still... more
