Better than your average Novotel, being that it has its own health spa, swimming pool and treatment rooms. Great rooms with sea views. Nice bar. Restaurant food still based on cooking by numbers, but will do the job. JLR score: 35/50 more

Very friendly staff and really clean hotel. Enjoyed ourselves greatly. Will stay again!! more
We stayed here for one Friday in August. We booked online and paid about 135 euros per night. The room was fairly basic but clean and tidy and all we really needed. The view was probably the best thing about this hotel. We had quite a nice breakfast overlooking the bay. I would recommend this hotel for a short break... more
We booked this hotel through the logis de France website, which suggested that a triple room would be OK for a family with 2 small children. The confirmation we received from the hotel mentioned 2 adults and 2 children, so we thought this would work out. However, the room we got was as small as physically can be for a... more
I feel I am betraying the lovely owners of the Hotel because for friendliness they would score a 5..However the hotel is on a very noisy street..the shower was suitable for midgets only and the T.V was on some weird timer...if you have mobility or back problems then this hotel is definitely not for you...situated on a steep street with... more
we stayed in the hotel with our daughter for one night and it was perfect. We got a delux room with an extra single bed which made the room a little smaller. For kids they gave had a small soft toy, kids shower gel/shampo and soap as well as a bathrope and slippers (so cute). We had a small balcony... more
this hotel is dirty we did not sleep at night because we were itching all over from the bed the toilet was faceing a wall and we had to sit on it side ways the room was dark and dirty it rained when we was there and we had to walk the streets because we just couldnt go back to... more
I stayed at the Novotel in Dinard for a weekend at the end of August. The hotel is set on the top of a small cliff overlooking the sea and offers stunning sea views. There are steps from the hotel garden directly onto the beach below. The rooms were comfortable, although fairly small. The bathroom was well equipped and clean.... more
I have just returned from four nights at the Hotel Printania. We chose the hotel based on a recommendation from a friend, and were prepared to overlook some of the more negative reviews on this and other websites. We certainly should not have done so. Our party of four had booked one room with a sea view (more expensive) and... more
We needed an overnight before catching ferry from St Malo and foolishly thought we could book a room at the last minute. We stopped at an Etaphotel near Angers to ask about rooms near St Malo and were told, very curly, that there were no rooms 'ANYWHERE'. Decided that they were horrible boxy places anyway. With 5 days to go... more
A very nice hotel, fantastic location. Just been renovated , 1 1/2 months ago, has still a little minor details to be taken care of. Lovely breakfast, but most of all smiling and helpufull faces all around. I really felt at home there. Prices are a little high for a Mercure, but I guess when the hotel has finished its... more
Stayed with our 4 children in interconnecting rooms.A lovely hotel tastefully modernised. The food in the bar and resturant is above average and the service as it should be. Dinard is a lovely town and the hotel well positioned I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and plan to stay again next year. more
Ask for a terrace with sea view at this family-run hotel in the centre of Dinard, close to the beach in the middle of town. Breakfast inside or out, overlooking the sea and bay. Excellent and very good-value for its prime location more
Friendly staff, very clean, good breakfast buffet, excellent location - all in all very good value. more
Just returned from 3 days in Dinard spent at this wonderful traditional Bretton hotel. Dinard is simply a delightful seaside town. The bays are lovely yellow sand, the bulidings range from gingerbread typical French, la Belle Y Poque, Art Deco, Edwardian and Victorian facades. Fish and Bretton specialities abound, quite expensive, but very special. As for the Printania, very quiet,... more
A very clean and tidy 2* in a great location. Attractive building well located in a quietish street maybe 400 metres from the sea front. Did not pre-book but negotiated with the very friendly English speaking receptionist a few Euros off each of the 8 rooms plus a free typical French fare cold buffet breakfast which was good and plentiful... more
Just a warning to anyone wanted to stay here. Hotel is nice enough, but after I left, after my credit card was charged, they put another $100 on my credit card. For some sort of mysterious "reservation fee", which when I challenged them, they claimed were going to refund. We will see whether this happens - in the meantime, get... more
When I read the other review of this hotel I was concerned, but looking at other web sites it seems the hotel had been refurbished since the review - so I hoped the staff had improved too. We arrived at the hotel just before 2pm - really warm welcome, showed to our room and showed around it - air con,... more
A giant bruschetta is served. So big that it dosent look like a bruschetta! The warm got cheese is a wonderful idea with pesto and tomato. more
