We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Brackenrigg Inn. 2 years ago we had an enjoyable experience. Sadly this time it was far from enjoyable. No heating, intermittent hot water, inexcusably slow table service and no sign of management.. Hope these problems are put right because it is beautifully positioned with unrivalled views. My wife and I stayed at the Leeming house Hotel which we have so for over 14 years, and in that time had very good service from the hotel, but last year was a disaster and was all caused by the very poor service in the dining room and the attitude of the management.
