The Cambridge HdV is very well located for centre of town but valet car parking is expensive.There is free parking in the road outside on Sundays.Our welcome was friendly and efficient.The (superior) room was very comfortable once we got used to descending a short flight of stairs to the bathroom. I agree with some of the praise seen in earlier reviews: Guido and Maria offer the warmest of welcomes (they are adorable) and make themselves very available should you want for anything, and £65 per night is fairly reasonable for a B&B. In about 30 years of frequent traveling I have never had a hotel which did not want to store my luggage for few hours before check in and after check out. This ruined my stay, not to speak about the 10 GBR early check in fee just to store my luggage. The clerk at the desk was not even willing... more
